This is our latest Worship Confessional for July 14 and 15, 2007. Please don’t look for much substance in this video. Call it “Worship Confessional Lite” because world famous Gary Moore and I had little to say.
Soundwise, we could have mentioned how Gary’s bass has a buzz, which I think we’ll be fixing this week with a higher quality direct box. Plus, my tubes are shot in my Vox AC30. So, I’ll probably be rockin’ my Fender Stage 120 this weekend.
T.J. broke a cymbal Saturday night. He plays like Animal.
Pastor Andy’s mug is up on the screen at the same time as T.J.’s, which A/V Josh has started splitting, for that hay-look-at-me-I’m-praising-God-on-the-jumbotron effect. Some days, I wish we would use the pretty backgrounds like our friends at North Point Community Church, but alas, some think my face is better looking than pink paisley.
Yes, indeed, I like coffee. Not just any coffee, I’ll have you know. I like coffee that’s branded. My favorite for years has been Starbucks Sumatra. Extra bold, low acid. I’d like to think that John Wayne would take one sip of my coffee and ask for something less intense. I brew it with the kind of strength that would wake a coma patient. The only weakness of Chuck Norris: my coffee.
When I’m out and about and willing to settle for the weak stuff, I lean towards the Starbucks Italian Roast cold in the can. Well, move over, Starbucks, because there’s a new can in town.
Introducing, Java Monster. Coffee + Energy. My favorite combination. As the can says, “half the caffeine of regular coffee, twice the buzz!” Me likes.

You will sit on the edge of your seat as T.J. almost runs his car into our nursery director’s car. Tears will fall as the band leaves Gary behind. Wince as we shamelessly plug Red Bull. Watch in amazement as Kevin randomly turns the dials on the light control.
